National Food Security Information Coordinator
Based in Vientiane, 11 Month Consultancy

The post will support a regional food security information project that aims to link information and decision-making to improve food security, with a focus on market, climate, vulnerability and livelihoods information. The post will manage the Lao PDR component of the project including collaboration with information producers and users, support to data and information gathering, analysis and reporting, capacity building, advocacy and communications.
Candidates should be well acquainted with food security issues in Lao PDR, have an appropriate postgraduate qualification, at least five years of relevant experience in project implementation, food security projects and/or information systems. Strong analytical and computer skills are required. Very good working knowledge of English and excellent communication skills.
